No, these pictures have nothing to do with the Eid Al Adha celebration. They were just taken on the same date as Eid Al Adha, which is a big deal in Indonesia. Just like any other kind of religious holiday, it's the time when family got together and have a quality time together. So did my family. And after a few hours staying at my parents' house, I went home with my niece (who came all the way from out of town) coming along for a quick photo session. Nothing fancy, just a 'while-you're-here' kind of session.

Fifteen years ago, still fresh in my mind, when this girl got hit-and-run by a motorcycle. She was only 5 at that time. The accident has broken her legs so bad that until now the pain keeps coming back every so often. And when it does, you would feel her pain just by looking at her face! Poor girl.
