Every year General Consulate of Republic of Indonesia together holds "Indonesian Day" in San Francisco to celebrate Indonesia's Independence Day that falls on August 17. The celebration doesn't always take place exactly on that date, but any day within the month of August. This year, it was held on August 12 at Union Square in San Francisco.
